Airfare Questions

  • Round trip economy airfare on American Airlines is included in the All-inclusive package.

  • The Land-Only does not include airfare or individual transfers to and from the airport. You may transfer with the group to/from airport/hotel if at the same time as All-Inclusive Group.

  • Yes, if you choose the All-Inclusive Package please enter your AAdvantage # and/or TSA # on the Registration Form or email this information to Darla@BairdTours.com 45 days prior to departure and we will add it to your reservation. This information can also be added at check-in.

  • If you want to purchase your own airline tickets select the Land-Only Tour Package. Then purchase airline tickets using miles or dollars in the class and from the airline of your choice.

    If you wish to transfer from and to the airport with the group contact us directly and we will add a transfer fee to your tour cost.

  • Upgraded seats will not be available with the Group Air. If you want upgraded seats you should register for the Land Only Package and purchase you own airfare on the same flight or another flight/airline.

  • If you purchase your own air and wish to transfer with the group you may do so if your arrival/departure times allow you to go at the same time as the group. Please contact Darla@BairdTours.com and give her your name and arrival/departure flight information.

Travel Insurance

  • We highly recommend the purchase of Trip Cancellation and Travel Insurance covering the cost of your trip. The cost to you of cancelling a trip due to sickness or injury to yourself or a family member, flight delays, lost luggage, medical costs during the trip are all covered if you purchase a Trip Cancellation and Travel Insurance policy. Coverage is subject to the amount of insurance purchased for trip cancellation and limited by other terms of the policy.

  • Many policies combine trip cancellation and travel insurance into a single policy. Trip cancellation insurance is the portion of a policy that covers the non-refundable portions of payments for trip in the event the traveler is not able to go on the trip due to reasons such an illness or injury to yourself, a traveling companion or a member of the traveler’s family. Travel insurance is the portion of a policy that covers costs associated with trip delays, lost baggage and medical costs while on a trip.

  • Trip Cancellation and Travel Insurance policies should be purchased as soon as the non-refundable amount paid for tours, airfare or lodging are larger than the cost of the policy. The date on which the policy is purchased can effect eligibility for some benefit provisions such as coverage for pre-existing conditions.

  • Some premium credit cards provide trip insurance benefits for trip costs purchased using their credit card. These benefits vary by credit card and are usually capped. Contact your credit company to determine terms and limits of your benefits.

  • There are a number of reputable companies that provide Trip Cancellation and Travel Insurance. You can find them by searching for “trip insurance” on the internet.
